Death: Teacher of Life

To me, death is a teacher whose wisdom and simplicity can be awe-inspiring. Humanity, as a whole, fears death; however, death is inevitable. For as an old saying goes, you can win a million battles with death, but death only has to win once.
This resistance to an inevitable part of nature brings a certain amount of pain and discomfort. When we come into this life, we are already starting to die as the sands of our life start to run. So many people see death as the enemy; these dame people don't always live life, which is an entirely different focus.
Long ago, I realized that what we focus on tends to have a strong influence on our everyday lives. So one day I decided to focus on life...instead of my inevitable death. I found that in trying to live life to the fullest, the idea of death bothered me less and less. Then, by keeping death as a companion and teacher instead of my enemy, I found true living and a new perspective that lays the foundation for a smooth transition later when my time comes.
Death became a great teacher of life. Death teaches perspective and priority. How many times have we heard of people who radically change their lives and lifestyles after surviving a life-threatening situation or after having a near-death experience? Once you see death face-to-face, life takes on a whole new look and feel. One way to allow death to teach us is to remember that death is always on your left shoulder, just behind you. This is similar to thinking that this will be your last day, week, or month. The problem with this exercise is that if you only have a month to live, you would leave nothing in reserve. For example, if all the money you have would only have to last a month, you could spend everything, liquidate your assets, and live very well, doing whatever you whish for the remaining month. The odds are that you will live past the month, so obviously this method has flaws. But thinking that death is just past your left shoulder, a constant companion, also changes your perspective:
For some, the drive for fame and accumulation of wealth no longer looks as appealing compared to issues of family.
For others, petty arguments cease. For example, the next time you are in an argument, just glance over your left shoulder and sense death standing there. Many times, I find the argument seems pointless to me and I just want to quickly resolve it or just drop it completely.
Forgiveness sometimes is easier for people to address. Some things become easier to forgive and some people seek to let others know they are forgiven. Others seek forgiveness for past wrongs.
Some find that the physical world itself doesn't matter as much as spiritual development, and hence, they lose much of their attachment to this world. Death standing very close to you makes much of the physical world and its activities seem very temporary and trivial, while some of the trivial now seem much more important. Unexpectedly, you may want to take the time to see a sunrise and experience other simple pleasures.
I believe death has been my teacher in showing me what is really important. I am actually quite young (28), so as my peers are trying to make a name for themselves, accumulating money and possessions and working 50+ hours a week, I find that the extra money and other dangling carrots do not appeal to me. For me, time to do the things I now see as important is more valuable than money. I try to spend time wisely instead of squandering it and wasting it.
I am living my life to the fullest. I try to squeeze every ounce of life form each second from each day. Regrets have become a thing of the past with death as my teacher. If only I did this instead of chickening out, death tells me "carpe diem, my friend." With death at my shoulder, I tend to seize the day more often, for I am willing to take that chance because this may be my last chance. This is not to say I have become reckless, but the risks and costs appear differently. Procrastination diminishes for the same reason. What needs to get done is done because I may not have another chance.
In living this way, I foresee that when my time comes, I will not leave as much to be done as I would have. And in all likelihood, I will not hesitate to accept death's hand when he gestures that it is my time.
Death, for me, is not to be feared. It is a teacher and companion. In the end, death will release me from a frail body, a painful injury, or however I leave this world, and usher me to a new beginning. In the meantime, I live life to the fullest.

Changing Yourself For The Better Through Self Hypnosis

Self hypnosis can be a great way to get rid of your bad habits and change your life for the better. By hypnotizing yourself, you can communicate with your subconscious mind and talk yourself into becoming more productive, sleep better, manage pain and change your attitude, and your life, in a positive way. Once you learn how to hypnotize yourself, you'll be able to open up your subconscious mind for suggestions or affirmations on anything you want. Need to lose weight? Self hypnosis can help! Want to quit smoking? It can help with that too! Do you procrastinate too much? You could hypnotize yourself to become more productive. You see, the subconscious mind is very powerful and it controls a lot of the things that you do, however it doesn't really think or rationalize it just does what it is told. You can't really talk to your subconscious mind directly, but through hypnosis you can relax your body and your mind enough to be able to communicate with it and plant affirmations or suggestions in there that will have a profound effect on the way you behave. Self hypnosis may be easier than you think. It's almost a little bit like meditation but in meditating you want to clear your mind totally and in hypnosis you want to focus on suggestions for your subconscious mind. First off, you'll need to identify a problem that you want to work on. We all have plenty of those now, don't we? Let's say you want to eat better in order to be healthier and lose weight. Your affirmations or suggestions you want to use could be something like "I only eat when I am hungry" and "I eat nutritious foods and only the portions I need". The trick to communicating with your subconscious mind is to realize that it can't tell the difference between a negative or positive so giving it a statement like "I will NOT overeat" won't have the effect you want and, in fact, will only plant the "overeat" suggestion and your mind. So what you really want to do is stick to saying things that you do want instead of what you don't want. To try to hypnotize yourself you first need to relax. Sounds easy, doesn't it? Believe it or not, this is very difficult for a lot of people. You want to be sure to choose a place in your home as well as a time when no one will interrupt you. You need to try to relax your body first starting at your toes and working all the way up, breath deeply and try to minimize the chatter in your brain. Once you are relaxed, then you can try to put yourself into a hypnotic state. You might ask, what exactly is a hypnotic state? That's a hard question to answer because it's different for everyone, however, once you are in it you will know! The key is that you can't be on the lookout for yourself to be in this state or it will never happen! You just need to relax, let go and let it happen. One thing you can do is try counting down just like in the movies. Contrary to what many people believe, when you are in a hypnotic state you will not be unconscious. Although, if you do relax yourself too much you might fall asleep but this is not what you want! Once you get in this state you can start repeating your affirmations to yourself (not out loud). This actually works even better if you use pictures or images instead of words. For example, picture yourself eating big healthy salads and fruits and then picture yourself being thin, fitting into some of your old favorite clothes and stepping on the scale and seeing it register the weight you want. The last thing you need to do is end the session so that your subconscious mind knows you are done sending it affirmations. You can do something simple like counting up to come out of the state or just saying you're gradually going to come up out of the state and slowly becoming more aware of their surroundings around you. Self hypnosis is not difficult, but it might take quite a bit of practice before you can do it with ease. Don't get discouraged and give up if at first you don't succeed because this is a very powerful way for you to control your behavior and change yourself for the better. If you keep at it, you will soon be amazed at how things turn around for you and you will find that you really can't have everything you want in life!

Secret Key to Relationships

I am married to a fella named Mike. We have a very good relationship based on lots of playfulness, humor and respect. We have good communication which can go something like this: "Mike, what is this doing here?" "This" could really be anything. From milk in the cupboard to shoes in the middle of the floor (don't ask!). The funny thing about this form of communication is that I ACTUALLY believe that by asking him these sorts of questions, it will somehow flip some sort of mental switch in his brain and he will stop leaving crap all over the place! The other day I left my shoes out in the middle of the living room floor. Mike smugly asked: "What are these doing here?" Well, I must say that I am very quick on my toes...so, I responded: "They are taking a rest before they walk themselves into the closet!" Hee hee, I am soooooooo hilarious! Luckily, he just rolled his eyes and walked out of the room. I picked up the shoes and put them in the closet. While I was doing that, I realized that I was feeling sorta annoyed. Because in truth (and I am so about the truth!), I didn't like him pointing out that my shoes where on the floor. I was sorta pissed off that he even said something. Because I NEVER do that kind of thing! Ya know? To take this a step further ... because sometimes I just gotta....I started mentally listing all of the times he has left stuff out or put stuff in weird ass places that make no sense at all!!!! Let me tell ya...the list was way long. Especially compared to me...who only left my shoes out on the floor...ONCE!!!! I was about to open my fabulous mouth...when I realized what the hell I was doing. I was STARTIN' something! Me and my "great" communication...was wanting to start something! Yay me for noticing this ... because, if I had launched into some sort of tyraid...I would have created all sorts of havoc! So, once I shut my internal list maker off-who needs to "prove how right I am"- I realized what the secret key to our great relationship is! I mean...yes, it's about respect. And yes, it's about playfulness, and kindness and love and all that good stuff. drum roll please... Here is it is: The secret key to our great relationship is RESTRAINT!!!!!! Really! It is! I restrain myself all the time. So does Mike! Sometimes, it is about communicating and sometimes it's about shutting the hell up! Not speaking "the truth." Because much of the time "speaking the truth" is about "I am right and you are wrong and here is my proof!" I am going to bravely assert here that the secret key to ANY good relationship is restraint! Whaddya think? Does that hold some grain of truth for you when you think about your quality, long term relationships? The ability to know when to speak and the ability to know when to shut the hell up! Think about your own thoughts and funny stories. Do you know when to speak and when to shut the hell up?

The power within you which enables you to form a thought picture is the starting point of all there is. In its original state it is the undifferentiated formless substance of life. Your thought picture forms the mould (so to speak) into which this formless substance takes shape. Visualizing, or mentally seeing things and conditions as you wish them to be, is the condensing, the specializing power in you that might be illustrated by the lens of a magic lantern. The magic lantern is one of the best symbols of this imaging faculty. It illustrates the working of the Creative Spirit on the plane of the initiative and selection (or in its concentrated specializing form) in a remarkably clear manner.
This picture slide illustrates your own mental picture -invisible in the lantern of your mind until you turn on the light of your will. That is to say, you light up your desire with absolute faith that the Creative Spirit of Life, in you, is doing the work. By the steady flow of light of the will on the Spirit, your desired picture is projected upon the screen of the physical world, an exact reproduction of the pictured slide in your mind.
Visualizing without a will sufficiently steady to inhibit every thought and feeling contrary to your picture would be as useless as a magic lantern without the light. On the other hand, if your will is sufficiently developed to hold your picture in thought and feeling, without any "ifs," simply realizing that your thought is the great attracting power, then your mental picture is as certain to be projected upon the screen of your physical world as any pictured slide put into the best magic lantern ever made.
Try projecting the picture in a magic lantern with a light that is constantly shifting from one side to the other, and you will have the effect of an uncertain will. It is as necessary that you should always stand back of your picture with a strong, steady will, as it is to have a strong steady light back of a picture slide.
The joyous assurance with which you make your picture is the very powerful magnet of Faith, and nothing can obliterate it. You are happier than you ever were, because you have learned to know where your source of supply is, and you rely upon its never-failing response to your given direction.
When all said and done, happiness is the one thing which every human being wants, and the study of visualization enables you to get more out of life than you ever enjoyed before. Increasing possibilities keep opening out, more and more, before you.
A business man once told me that since practicing visualization and forming the habit of devoting a few minutes each day to thinking about his work as he desired it to be in a large, broad way, his business had more than doubled in six months. His method was to go into a room every morning before breakfast and take a mental inventory of his business as he had left it the evening before, and then enlarge upon it. He said he expanded and expanded in this way until his affairs were in remarkably successful condition. He would see himself in his office doing everything that he wanted done. His occupation required him to meet many strangers every day. In his mental picture he saw himself meeting these people, understanding their needs and supplying them in just the way they wished. This habit, he said, had strengthened and steadied his will in an almost inconceivable manner. Furthermore, by thus mentally seeing things as he wished them to be, he had acquired the confident feeling that a certain creative power was exercising itself, for him and through him, for the purpose of improving his little world.
When you first begin to visualize seriously, you may feel, as many others do, that someone else may be forming the same picture you are, and that naturally would not suit your purpose. Do not give yourself any unnecessary concern about this. Simply try to realize that your picture is an orderly exercise of the Universal Creative Power specifically applied. Then you may be sure that no one can work in opposition to you. The universal law of harmony prevents this. Endeavor to bear in mind that your mental picture is Universal Mind exercising its inherent powers of initiative and selection specifically.
God, or Universal Mind, made man for the special purpose of differentiating Himself through him. Everything that is, came into existence in this same way, by this self-same law of self-differentiation, and for the same purpose. First the idea, the mental picture or the prototype of the thing, which is the thing itself in its incipiency or plastic form.
The Great Architect of the Universe contemplated Himself as manifesting through His polar opposite, matter, and the idea expanded and projected itself until we have a world -many worlds.
Many people ask, "But why should we have a physical world at all?" The answer is: Because it is the nature of originating substance to solidify, under directivity rather than activity, just as it is the nature of wax to harden when it becomes cold, or plaster of paris to become firm and solid when exposed to the air. Your picture in this same Divine substance in its fluent state taking shape through the individualized center of Divine operation, your mind; and there is no power to prevent this combination of spiritual substance from becoming physical form. It is the nature of Spirit to complete its work and an idea is not complete until it has made for itself a vehicle.
Nothing can prevent your picture from coming into concrete form except the same power that gave it birth - yourself. Suppose you wish to have a more orderly room. You look about your room and the idea of order suggests boxes, closets, shelves, hooks and so forth. The box, the closet, the hooks, all are concrete ideas of order. Vehicles through which order and harmony suggest themselves.

Revealed here - in order of their importance - are the 10 secret leadership skills absolutely necessary to creating outrageous success. If you can honestly evaluate how well you implement each of these skills, and take steps to improve the most critical areas, you will be well on your way to creating outrageous success!
1. Master and Manage Thoughts: The absolute most important leadership skill is mastering and managing your thoughts. Everything you do, every outcome you experience, every result you have achieved began with a thought. Consistent thought creates your attitudes. Attitudes are tremendously powerful. 3. Create Life Guiding Statements: Life guiding statements include knowing who you are, your vision for the future, your purpose for living, your values, and your dreams and written goals. Most people spend more time planning vacations than they do planning these powerful parts of their life. Developing and refining these life guiding statements provide powerful direction and guidance for your work and life. With them you can say YES to the things that help you in your journey and NO to the distractions that will prevent you from creating outrageous success.
4. Accountability: Are you a living victim? Do you believe other people, events or circumstances force you to do the things you do? Nothing could be further from the truth! What you experience today is a result of the choices you made in the past. What you experience tomorrow is a result of the choices you make today. Ignoring, procrastinating, or choosing poorly are all choices. They will either propel you toward outrageous success or place impossible barriers in your way.
5. Knowledge and Wisdom: Lack of knowledge is the root of all harm. It is the force that will completely block you from experiencing outrageous success. With the resources available to all of us today, there is no excuse for not acquiring the knowledge you need to reach your goals. Here’s a tip. Read 30 minutes a day on a subject you enjoy. Dedicating yourself to a cause that uplifts others is key to unlocking outrageous success.
7. Living in The Moment: How much time do you spend thinking about the past, daydreaming of the future, watching meaningless TV or playing mindless games? That is not the way to make the best use of each moment in your life. Concentrating on what you are doing in each moment creates positive outcomes and gives you the greatest results, happiness, and joy.
8. Communication: You cannot create outrageous success alone. You must work with and through others. And to work with others means you must communicate with them. Becoming a master communicator is essential. There are many different ways we communicate: verbally, through body language, delegating, inspiring, persuading, and asking questions. There are many different methods we use to communicate: e-mail, face-to-face, blogs, telephone, writing. Each of these mediums requires different communication skills. To create outrageous success, make it your goal to master communication in all these mediums.
9. Work / Life Balance and Health: Working long hours will eventually cause disease, exhaustion, and dysfunction. I once worked with a manager who committed to getting a balanced life – but not until he retired in two years! Others I know have realized the value of a balanced life only after a heart attack or a stroke. Why are you waiting? There are eight areas of life I recommend balancing: Family, Spiritual, Health, Physical, Educational, Career, Financial, and Social. Every month for a year, set one small goal to increase your satisfaction in one of those areas. In a year’s time, you will be a happier individual.
10. Love and Gratitude: One fact is indisputable. Love is the most powerful force in the Universe. When you are filled with love, your experiences with people and the world around you will be overwhelmingly positive. When you are filled with fear, distraction, ignorance, or a victim mentality, the flow of love is blocked. It is critical to see the world and everyone in it through the eyes of love. Another feeling you must develop is gratitude. Make a list of everything you are grateful for: the people you work and live with, and everything in your world. You will be amazed at the change it makes in your work and life.

We tend to get a bit reflective when someone close to us passes away. This is especially true if that individual was young. Questions such as what does it mean and why are we here go through our minds. It is a stark reminder that our time is limited. Unfortunately, the end will be near before we know it. Even in the best of circumstances, we can hope to enjoy 80 or 90 years on this planet. How we utilize those years is up to us. However, the amount we have is non-negotiable. We cannot purchase more time at the end. When we are done, we are done.
It is interesting how we spend our time when there is plenty of it. As long as we project that we have another 40 or 50 years, there is no urgency to what we do. We maintain the belief that we can always “get around to it later”. This changes as we grow older. Our outlook shifts to one where we know the end is coming closer. A person with an expectancy of another 40 years differs greatly from one with 10. This change in perspective manifests itself in how one spends the daily allotment of time. What was once critical is no longer that important.
In working with people assisting them in overcoming their challenges, one realizes that many create tremendous pressure on themselves. They have the desire to perform at the highest level. Most carry the attitude that they must handle all situations themselves. Of course, they quickly find that there is not enough time to get everything done. The more that they take on, the further behind they become. This leads to an increase in stress and an assortment of other physical ailments.
Most people get themselves in this situation because they choose to minor in the major things in life. In other words, their focus is consistently on things that are really unimportant in the overall scheme of life. They have the tendency to put off the things that truly make a difference in their lives. The desire to “do it all” creates an unbalanced priority system. A great amount of time is dedicated to those activities which provide a low return in the long run.
What would you do if you knew this was your last day on Earth? Would you put all that extra time in at the office? Do you think you would put off calling your spouse and telling him/her how great you love is? The answers to these questions is obvious. Fortunately, most of us have more than one more day left on this planet. Of course, we never know when the ultimate outcome will surface. Yet it is safe to say that given only 24 hours more, every action would carry tremendous impact in terms of their importance.
Eliminating the focus on the minor things in life is one of the major shifts that you can make to improve your life. The time is now to begin 'majoring in the major things in life'. Concentrating on the critical activities enables us to be more effective. We utilize the precious resource of time to our advantage. Time has the characteristic of diminishing returns. The older we get, the quicker a year passes. It seems like we go from New Year's Day to Christmas in the blink of an eye. Putting our attention on the important activities ensures that we are putting our time to the most use.
There is an old saying, 'In a hundred years this will not matter'. People also say ' We will be laughing about this in a year' (or some other time frame). These quotes allude to the fact that whatever is the 'crisis' of the moment is not really paramount. If one is going to laugh about it down the road, why not laugh about it now? It must not be all that catastrophic if there is a hint of humor in it. Release the pressure of the situation by implementing humor. Understand that it most likely is not the end of the world.
Getting ones priorities in order is a key component to living a fulfilling life. People who do not truly know what they want are apt to be swayed by outside influences. Having the outlook that time is not an unlimited commodity will offer the motivation to get things in order. If you only had a short time to live, would you be fretting about this? Ask this to determine what are the most vital parts of your life. The clearer we become on what really is important, the more we can nurture those relationships and situations.
Another saying comes to mind; 'live as if you are going to die tomorrow but plan as if you will live forever'. We found that a life with direction is the most successful. People who drift from one situation to another often lead empty lives. Their sense of accomplishment is low. People feel satisfaction when they had a hand in building something. The creative muscle is natural in all of us. Some use it to erect physical structures. Others develop companies. Still others use these skills to raise a family. Some do charitable works to gain a feeling of creating. Seeing your results after setting out with nothing more than an idea and desire is an indescribable feeling.
Begin taking your life to a new level by concentrating on what is important to you. Make those decisions as if you have only a short period of time to live. This will clear away many of the unimportant activities that really do not provide a great deal of satisfaction anyway. At the end of one's life, rarely is a sermon given spelling out how much 'stuff' on amassed. Instead, people speak of the character of the person, the relationship he/she had with others, the contributions made, and the thoughtfulness exhibited. Plan your day around offering these qualities to those closest to you. In the end, the only thing that truly matters is our interaction with others.

Develop a Belief System That Works for you

It is interesting to note that most of society is free. There is a percentage of the populous that is incarcerated for crimes against society. So too, are there people who live in political cultures that do not value the freedom of its' people. Nevertheless, the majority of the people in the world live in relative freedom. They can choose whom they marry, what they do for a living, and where they live. Most societies allow their people to move around freely without restraint. As long as an individual is obeying the laws, that person has wide latitude in conduct.
The freedoms offered by governments are physical freedoms that all its' law abiding members enjoy. However, many operate in a “prison like” atmosphere regardless of what they are given. This prison does not exist on the material plane. Rather, it is a creation of the mind. It is manufactured from an individual's belief system. These beliefs become people's jailers.
Most will tell you that they can think for themselves. To suggest that they are incapable of creating their own ideas is met with an overwhelming attitude to the contrary. All their success, experiences, and intelligence give a sense of independence. They mistakenly believe that their belief systems is of their own making. Unfortunately for them, it is not.
A fundamental concept to creating the life that you desire is to create a belief system that works for you. Contrary to what most think, our beliefs systems are shaped by the influences around us. Teachers, parents, friends, co-workers, and institutions all have input into the beliefs that we live by. Have you ever noticed how children's ideas often reflect those of their parents? This is so common that political organizations poll school children during Presidential elections because they accurately reflect the sentiment of the adults.
The governments of the world are masters at shaping the belief system of its' people. Through the use of propaganda, public opinion is swayed based upon the desires of those in power. This is often done in the name of nationalism. A group of people is established as a threat to the society. Events are shown to validate this viewpoint while creating the emotional dislike towards that group. Thus, the government is free to act as it see fit with the full support of its people. Unfortunately, most people do not have firsthand experience to form a solid conclusion. Of course, they will defend their belief even though that are not certain where it came from.
It is common for people and organizations to manipulate other's beliefs for the sake of control. The government is one example. Some religions throughout history has acted in a similar manner. They used threat of an angry Deity and eternal damnation to control the masses. There were numerous instances where the Church of England was the most powerful organization in Europe. With a following that is under control, it is much easier to maintain influence. Naturally, there are many denominations where this is not the case. So, too, are their many people who's lives are enhanced by their religious affiliation. Unfortunately, this is not true in all instances.
The key to a belief systems is creating one that works for you. As an adult, you have the freedom to believe anything that you desire. Spending time questioning where some of your beliefs came from is healthy. It is also effective to determine whether they still work for you. If they assist you into being happy, joyous, and free, then they are worthwhile. However, when they instill pain, perhaps it is time to rethink them.
Ironically, the beliefs that seem to cause the most chaos in people's lives come from those who love us the most. Many individuals suffer from psychological disorders due to the influences of their parents. Things such as low self esteem, abandonment, and sexual issues all come from our upbringing. Typically, one who suffer from any of these, was made to feel guilty and shameful. Their worth was shown to be tied to their performance which never was good enough. Mistakes were not forgiven but something to be used as a weapon to make the other feel worse. All this was done as a form of control.
Leap forward 20 years and you find that a person who grew up in this atmosphere often still carries these beliefs. Even though recent experiences will prove to the contrary, the individual still hears the words of the parent. It affects the relationships with friends, lovers, coworkers, and oneself. Without some help, the person is often incapable of healthy interaction with others. There is a degree of sickness in all that is done. Thus, the individual turns to other things to fill that void that exists whether it is drugs, alcohol, sex, or food. However, if the belief system was viewed as insane, the person might be apt to change it. Simply altering a few of the basic beliefs one holds regarding oneself miraculously changes life.
The more that we can accept that it is likely that what we believe came from other, the better our chances are of attaining freedom. There are many things that were taught to us by others growing up which serve us well. This is especially true if we were raised in a loving home. However, society being as selfish as it is, there is much that stands in our way of happiness. Analyzing our belief system gets to the root of what motivates us. A system that contains a great deal of fear will cause one to often act out of that fear. The opposite is also true. To create 'our' life, it begins with creating 'our' own belief system.

Practice Your Mind To Stop Procrastination By The Law of Attraction

Procrastination is one of the problem areas in life that most people want to improve. It does not only prevent to achieving what you want, but it also give you the bad habit which can sabotage any of your mission. In order to be effective in life, we need to learn how to deal with procrastination. In this article, we will talk about psychological moves to deter procrastination by partly using the law of attraction. Brian Tracy, a leader in personal development field, says in his work "Time Management". Brian classifies psychological ways to prepare your mind to the task. These psychological approaches will reduce or even eliminate procrastination. There are seven psychological moves including: 1. Set worthwhile goals When you have goals that is meaningful to you, your commitment to the achievement will be significantly higher. Having a written goal with the deadline shown in front of your working desk is one of the classic way to move you toward your goals and eliminate procrastination. This will work very well especially when your goal is very worthwhile and reward for achieving it is so big for you. 2. Continually visualize the task as completed Visualize that you have completed the task on time without any problem. Visualization is how we communicate with our subconscious mind and make the mind attract what we want into our life. According to the law of attraction, the subconscious mind has the power to work like a magnet to attract circumstances or attributes that are favorable to your goal achievement. You will find that your path to your goals is smoother and faster. You may want to add some background audio into your visualization process. This will help accelerating your attraction. 3. Make positive affirmation. Do it now. Write this sentence down and place in front of you. Some companies have their employees shout out loud this slogan every morning to make them focus on action and the importance of present moment. It works very well. For personal approach, it will work for every body who make this affirmation regularly. "Do it now! Do it now!". You can affirm this into your mind with intensity. Once it registers into your mind, your chance of procrastination will drastically reduce. 4. Set a deadline on all important tasks. One major mistakes that most people have is that they do not really know when to finish the project. This is a pitfall that hinder our accomplishment. We need to set us the deadline so that we can make plan to work on against the deadline. When we know what to do in the specific time, we will have the tendency to work on it instead of procrastinating because we know that the project will not finish on time if we do not do as we plan. 5. Refuse to rationalize or give excuses to not doing it. It is interesting that a lot of people have multiple ways to give themselves the reason to not doing what they need to do now. They easily postpone the activity by giving many sound reasons. You will need to know how to refuse to accept those rationalizations. We have to learn that all those reasons happens just to make you delay in the project and this is not good for us. Once you refuse to accept the reasons or excuses, you will be able to move forward. 6. Create a reward system. Condition yourself to expectation of the good result. Give yourself a pad on the back or go out for a walk if you finish one task. Buy yourself a gift or do something meaningful every time you finish one step of your task. The good reward system gives you the sense of self-respect and it will drive you toward your goals. 7. Accept responsibility on completing the tasks on time. A lot of people procrastinate because they know that when things go wrong or when the tasks can be not finished, they can blame on others or circumstances. This is what most people do. But when we accept one hundred per cent of responsibility into your life, you will not procrastinate anymore since you know that they will be no one to blame accept yourself. Everyone knows that procrastination is one of the major problem areas that people have. This article talks about seven psychological moves to eliminate procrastination by partly using the law of attraction.

Solve Your Anger Problems With EFT

Anger, whether you are permanently feeling a latent anger, or experience sudden outbursts, anger is not on the wish list for most of us. Particularly when anger gets out of hand and you direct your anger and frustration towards your spouse, a colleague, or your children, creating bad feelings all round. Inevitably, once you calm down, anger turn into remorse and guilt . Now you are probably spending a lot of your time trying to make amends. What is more, you have two problems to contend with instead of one. A life free from anger of course is pretty impossible. There will always be moments and situations when you are going to feel angry or frustrated. The real problem is not the anger in itself, but letting it get out of control. Finding effective strategies to manage your anger could solve a lot of unnecessary problems in your interpersonal relationships. There are a number of effective ways to manage anger in a controlled fashion. One of the most simple and fasted methods around is EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique. EFT belongs to the family of energy therapies. It can easily be learned by anyone and has a very high success rate of over 90%. EFT uses a combination of mind focus together with tapping on a small number of meridian points on the upper body and face to clear the energy channels of body and mind. The moment you notice anger coming up you tune into the anger and begin tapping on the meridian points whilst focusing on releasing the anger by speaking aloud a phrase as you tap. One round of tapping takes about one minute. You keep tapping the rounds until the anger subsides, which normally happens very quickly, within a few minutes. Once you have successfully released the anger in this way, you gain new clarity of mind. You may experience a sudden sense of relief, as if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. This is a very refreshing feeling and will often lead you to new insights into the problem, that has caused the anger.Seening your situation in a new light is incredibly empowering and liberating. You will renewed confidence and an increased sense of self worth. If you make EFT part of your daily routine you may soon find that you become calmer and more relaxed. Problems that used to get you wound up become less bothersome and even cease to exist. You can use EFT for a wide variety of emotional and physical problems. Actually, a lot of people are not familiar with the word " financially independent" because we have never been taught in the classroom. The word is however used widely in the MLM and in the internet marketing because the possibility the fields provide. It is however not discussed among employees since they know that there is no use to discuss about what can not be true. In this article, we will talk about seven ways to attract into your life and become financially independent. The seven ways include: 1. Study wealth. Understand the nature of wealth. We need to respect wealth not to despite it. A lot of people drive away wealth by thinking to be wealthy is filthy. That is not true. We can be both rich and noble at the same time. Actually, to be wealthy is one of the ways to exert your most potentials and to make yourself be able to contribute more to the world. Andrew Carnegie spent the first half of his life accumulate wealth. He also spent the other half giving it away. When we study wealth, we will hear a lot of stories like this and we will change our attitude toward it. If you want to be wealthy, you have to feel good on being one. 2. Spend less than you earn. This is very simple. Once you earn more you spend, you can save the excess. Most people understand the principle but can not practice it. They can not hold their discipline enough. The temporary gratification is so strong for most people that they do not want to sacrifice their convenience. Do not let this happen to you. Resist yourself to spend more than you earn. If your current status do not allow you to practice this, quickly find way out since it is the basic principle before you can become wealthy. 3. Save ten per cent to be your wealth fund. This is not an emergency fund which you can spend it when it comes to urgent situation. The fund is for investing for a secured financial life. Learn how to invest wisely and carefully with this fund. You can be wealthy if you save this ten per cent long enough and live prudently enough. 4. Save ten per cent for your contribution. Give back some money to the other people by donation. Find some organization that you can give some contribution. Oddly enough, the evidence shows that the more you give out, the more you can save. You don't have to give them all away at once. Set up a separate fund and donate when time comes. You will attract more wealth into your life by giving out to others. 5. Invest three per cent for your continual education. You need to further your education in order to add more potential into your life. Investing in yourself is one of the smartest ways to help you achieve wealth quicker. When you are more capable, you will earn more and you can save more and invest more. At the end, the person who continually learns will definitely enjoy wealthier life than the one who does not. 6. Save unexpected income like bonus or extra profits. When you have unexpected income, save it not spend it. People tend to spend all with what they have extra by satisfying their impulse purchase pattern. Don't do that to yourself. Save it and your saving fund will grow faster. 7. Make visualization on wealth success regularly. Visualize that you can enjoy wealthy status can help you attract wealth into your life according to the law of attraction. You will be able to attract circumstances and attributes that will help you to become wealthy. You can add background audio to accelerate your attraction process. To be wealthy is what many people aim for and expect to achieve. This article reveals seven simple ways that you can use to accumulate wealth into your life.

Cultivating the Faith and Desire to Succeed

Victory nor Defeat. --Teddy Roosevelt A burning desire to reach your goals is a factor that sets you apart from one who wishes or is a dreamer. Without desire nothing can be accomplished. It creates the energy necessary to do what is ever needed to achieve success. What is desire? There is a story of a wise, old sage who lived in the mountains. A youth trying to find the meaning of desire traveled into the mountains to find this wise old sage. Upon finding the old sage the youth asked, Sire, it is said that you can tell the true meaning of desire. Is that possible? The wise old sage said, Follow me and I will show you the true meaning of desire. The old sage led the youth to a lake. Follow me, continued the old sage as he waded into the lake followed closely by the youth. The old sage stopped and turned to the youth and commanded the youth to place his head under the water. The youth did what he was told and placed his head under the water. The old sage placed his hands on the back of the youths head and held it there. The youth struggled with all his might to lift his head out of the water as his lungs were burning and crying for air. Finally, he was able, with a mighty effort to force his head out of the water and take that precious breath of air. The old sage then said, Now, when you want something as badly as you wanted that fresh breath of air, you now know, my son, what true desire really is! Think for a moment about this statement, When you have everything to gain and nothing to lose, by all means try! Many of us are preoccupied with a search for certainty. Let me give you an analogy to explain what I mean... We travel a busy highway and there were traffic lights along the route. All of us would like nothing betterthan have all green lights so we could get to where we are going very quickly. But that is not the way it works, there undoubtedly are going to be some red lights. All of our life must be built on faith and belief. We have to make a decision; we must know where we are and understand the values by which we are going to live life. Then we have to take action. We dont always have to know we are right. We will either live our life by faith and commitment or we live with doubt and fear. Just about all negative attitudes stem from this ugly twosome, fear and doubt. It crops up as worry, self-concern, helplessness and discouragement. Some people like to think you can conquer fear and doubt by positive thinking, but it is not that simple. Were too much in their grasp. Worry and fear are the same garment - they produce fatigue, they hold us back and they restrain the mind. They are opposite of courage and faith. They affect our total health and they make us miserable. What is fear? We are born with only two fears: The fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. The rest are learned. They are nothing more than habits of thoughts or our attitudes. They are faith misplaced. We get into a dark pit of fear and we dig deeper instead of using our strengths to get out. It is easy to develop the habit of fear and worry. The human mind is more intrigued with the shocking and the bizarre. The awful headlines crying about the demolished car, the mad dog slayer... The newspapers every day are talking crime and violence. We start to verbalize these bad happenings and we are actually programming our subconscious mind and it becomes part of our life. Fear and doubt are devastating! They rob us and hold us back. There is a saying that is very powerful. Fear knocked at the door, faith answered, and no one was there. So the very first thing you must do is have positive faith. Your degree of success may very well be measured by your degree of belief and faith. We must be willing to face rejection and problems with no effect on our positive direction. Faith and belief provide for a foundation for life of achievement and fulfillment. Live one day at a time. There was a sign on a bridge, Warning 5 ton load limit. That bridge handles hundreds of tons daily, But you see, not all at one time. Almost all fear and worry is something in the future, 90% of which never occurs. Why carry the load? So stop and smell the roses, live one day at a time. Shut off the past, the dead yesterdays and shut off the future, too. The load of tomorrow added to that of yesterday carried today, makes the strongest falter. That is powerful - let me go over that again... The future is today. Plan for tomorrow but concentrate on being the best you can possibly be today! Finally, have a sense of humor. This is one of the least used gifts for handling fear, doubt and problems. It serves as a safety valve. Laugh at your serious situations. John Glenn, the astronaut, just before going into space, was asked what he would do if the retro rockets would fail to ignite? He laughed and replied, It would probably spoil my whole day. These are things that all of us can do. Start doing them today!

To Succeed in Life Get into the Habit of Saying Yes!

To succeed in life you've got to step up to the plate. You cannot move forward in life by sitting on the bench - you have to get into the game. You have to get into the habit of saying 'yes' even when you're not sure how you are going to successfully complete the challenge you've accepted. This can be quite a scary prospect as you might very well fall flat on your face. On the other hand, you could achieve phenomenal success but how will you know if you don't try? One thing is certain you will grow from your experience and even if it doesn't turn out quite the way you want it to you will have learnt valuable lessons that you can take forward to your next challenge. There's a television programme called "Dinner Impossible". As you probably guessed it's loosely based on the "Mission Impossible" series. "All things are possible until they are proved impossible - and even the impossible may only be so, as of now." Pearl S. Buck Chef Robert Irvine is given a challenge sometimes when he doesn't even suspect it. Basically, the challenge is to cook for a large number of individuals usually numbering in the hundreds with often fairly rudimentary equipment. He may find himself cooking a full meal for hundreds of construction workers or preparing canapes for celebrity guests. He has to do everything from scratch - setting up his kitchen, designing a menu which has to conform to the given brief, shop for all the ingredients and organise his team of helpers. It requires: 1. Expert knowledge (in this case of the culinary arts) 2. Excellent leadership skills 3. Excellent time-management skills 4. Great attention to detail 5. The ability to improvise 6. The ability to adapt to new situations 7. Excellent motivational skills 8. Excellent organisational skills 9. Excellent time management skills 10. The ability to perform well under pressure This skill-set would be advantageous in any setting where you have a tough goal to achieve. He admits that he worries that he won't succeed in completing the challenge and that he has really taken on the impossible dinner. However, you can see that once he has acknowledged this as a possibility or the worse case scenario he then focuses completely on making the challenge a success. The consequences of his failing are in many cases worse than what you would have to face should you indeed fail in your own quest to achieve your goals. "One of main weaknesses of mankind is the average man's familiarity with the word impossible. He knows all the rules which will NOT work. He knows all the things which CANNOT be done." Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich Can you imagine how different the world of personal development would be if Napoleon Hill had not said "yes" to Andrew Carnegie when he asked him to become the author of a new philosophy that would distil the knowledge of successful men like himself so that the average man could benefit from this accumulated wisdom. Mr Carnegie's proposition came at a great cost (though not to Carnegie). He estimated that it would take Hill 20 years to complete the research and that the only support he would give him would be to provide letters of introduction. Hill was expected to pay his own way. At the time Hill was broke and he admitted that he did not even know the meaning of the word "philosophy". What's more here he was being asked to work for the richest man in world for no pay. At first he hesitated, who wouldn't? Then his intuition took over and as he described it an invisible person looking over his shoulder said "go ahead and tell him yes" and before he knew it he replied: "Mr Carnegie, Sir, not only will I accept the commission but you can depend on it that I will complete it." As in the case of Napoleon Hill, when you are offered a challenge it isn't because someone wants you to fail, quite the opposite. The person proposing the challenge, no matter how tough, generally and genuinely believes that you can succeed. This is the case even when it is you setting the challenge or goal. The thought would not cross your mind if you didn't believe it possible. So don't waste time in hesitating, say a resounding? "Yes!"

Five Methods To Stop Procrastination And The Law of Attraction

When you start to work on something, do you notice that your mind tend to fly away from your task? You have tendency of thinking about other thing to do now and postpone what you need to do until later time. A lot of time, you don't even start what you plan to do because you think other tasks are more important. You give yourself the reasons and new "rough" time frame to do this project and you forget about it. This is what happen and here comes procrastination. In this article, we will talk about how we can practically finish our project without procrastination by partly using the law of attraction. 1. Have firm written plan When you start any project in your life, write down what you want to achieve and what to do to get it. If you have not done this step, you are not really serious on what you want. Then you have to go back to why you want this project to be done. What you will get from it. Do you really want it? If the reason is strong enough, you will start to find the necessary steps to do. Here comes the plan. A lot of time, you may not have enough knowledge or resources to accomplish what you want. Don't worry. Most successful people also started up that way. When you are serious about your goal and you continually visualize about it. The law of attraction will help attract what you need into your life. Anyway, you need to have your plan and time frame on each step so that you know how you are doing during the journey. If you have a written plan, your chance to procrastinate drastically reduces. 2. Clear out your work space. Only one thing left to do. People can easily get overwhelmed by piles of work in front of them. As a result, they can not finish any of them and they procrastinate to do them in other times. This will not happen if you focus on one task at a time. In order to do that, you need to practice to clean out your work space. Do not allow anything that can distract you on your working desk. Just one thing on your table is left and you start working on it until it finish. 3. Start urgent and important tasks. Prioritize the tasks. You need to classify your tasks into groups of activities. See which one is urgent for you to do and which one is important to do. A lot of urgent tasks are not really important and a lot of important tasks are not really urgent. Give priority to the ones which is both urgent and important. Practice it and you will find that you reduce your procrastination greatly when you see the urgency of some tasks. 4. Do the large task first. Respect the deadline. When you set up the deadline of each task, you need to commit to it. Respect it as it is one of your values. You must do what you need to do on time. When you develop a habit of respecting the deadline, you will find yourself having higher standard. Also, do the larger parts of your task first. Once you finish the large and difficult ones, the small ones left will be easy for you. You will want to finish the whole chunk of it to get the sense of self-fulfillment. 5. Use creative procrastination. You can procrastinate what is not relevant or not important for achieving your goals. Ask yourself " do this need to be done?" " what will happen if it is not done yet?" If it has no impact on your advancement toward your goals, postpone it. This creative procrastination will enormously save your time and allow you to focus on more valuable activities. You may end up not doing a lot of those procrastinated tasks. That is good for you. They are not important for you anyway. A lot of people want to eliminate procrastination habit. This article talks about how to do in order to reduce procrastination by partly applying the law of attraction.

Seven Steps to Create Your New Future With The Law of Attraction

Success starts within our mind. Whether you think you can do it or you can't, you are always right. You must have heard this line many times. Napoleon Hill said that "whatever the mind of the man can think and conceive, it can be achieved." This is a classic phrase. Not many people are happy with their status quo. Yet a lot of people do not know how to change to their new and desired future.
In this article, we will discuss about the seven steps to change our life and create a new future. We will also talk about how to make use of the law of attraction to apply it. The seven steps include:
1. Think big. Eliminate of negative beliefs.
Your beliefs have been cultivated from what happened to you in the past. You should realize that the past is not equal to the future, unless you really live there. The first thing you need to do is to eliminate all negative beliefs from your mind. Those beliefs are not useful for creating new future. Think that everything is possible if you put enough efforts and stay long enough. When you change your beliefs into positive ones, you will feel more power. You can then be able to proceed to the next level.
2. Create new identity, values and beliefs.
The three things that you have to recreate are your identity, your values and your new and empowering beliefs.
Identity makes you realize who you are in a certain area of life. It determines who is real you when certain thing happens. For example, you will not take other people's possession without their permission. When this becomes your identity, you will not do it no matter what happens.
Your values control how you set up the rules for yourself. It determine what is important to you most. Your values can be physical health, relationship, growth, or career etc. When you decide what will be your values in life, the new values will lead you to create a new set of beliefs. The new beliefs will allow you to think creatively about your future.
3. Set up your ambitious goals.
We do not have to emphasize the importance of the goals. Without goals, we blindly make our life journey. There is a high chance that we will end up in the ditches. Ambitious and meaningful goals will enable us to move forward. Learn how to make goals and stick to your goals until you succeed.
4. Break down your goals. Write up your plan to achieve them.
Your ultimate goals should be divided into small goals. Make the time line of each goals so that you can measure the progress. Write your plan how you are going to achieve those goals.
5. Take actions according to the plan. Do not stop.
Nothing bear fruits without actions. Every successful people have to work hard toward their goals. There is no exception. Be prepared to work according to your plan. Be willing to invest the resources necessary for your progress. Do not give up. Do it until you get what you want.
6. Review what you did and how good you are.
While you are in the process of your work, spend some time to review how have you done. Review against your plan and see if you need to change anything. You can change your approaches or methods but you will not change your goals since they are already what you have thought through.
7. Visualize daily about your success.
Make visualization that you achieve what you want in front of you. Visualize your success in every area of your life. Right visualization will attract all circumstances and attributes necessary for your goals achievement into your life. This is where the law of attraction works.

You too can be inspired to live out your life dream, and in the same way as Oprah Winfrey is living out her particular dream. All of our dreams may be different, but the way to achieve them is, was, and always will be, the same! What if you could find out what that way is? You could then take those steps necessary to attain your goals. What would happen then? What would happen is, you would begin to live out your own dream, regardless of what that dream is! How can you do this? This article will outline the first five steps you must take in order to do exactly that living. Then, in all the articles that will follow this one, more steps will be expounded upon, so that you can take them and be coached for your success along the way. All this work puts the "C" into inspiration, so that it becomes "inspir-action!"© In this way you can "C" your way to take action, because without action, there is no inspiration. Every article can be read alone, and other than this beginning one, the order you read them in is not important. The only important thing is-to begin! Let's begin now.
First step: Let go of "How?" You are at the bottom of a long staircase, and it's one that leads you to living out your dream. Look at it. It's a high journey, one that you can't see the end of. That's great! Why? Because if you already knew what actions would best get you there, you would have been carrying out that plan already. Along the way of going toward your goal you will find out what the best plan is, but first you have to commit to doing whatever it takes to reach your goal. We all have do this. That's the good news. You don't have to see the end result yet, all you have to do is plan on what that result is, and then commit to it. For instance, your result could be a good marriage, or making a million dollars. How are you getting along with your spouse? What kinds of things are you doing? Do you smile at them? Do you say you love them? Or money goals. Have you gone to a financial planner yet? Do you allow yourself to be coached? Are you open to receiving more? Are you willing? How much money do you have and what are you doing with it? These markers along the way will show you what you are really committed to.
Second Step: Create a model. What you also need to do is to say what you would like to achieve. This is concrete planning. How much money do you want? What kind of relationship would you be happy with? This is the next step. You are now on it. At the bottom of the staircase you are like a child. Do we criticize children or get upset with them when they at first don't know how to walk? Of course not! We should treat ourselves with exactly the same courtesy. We are on a path we have never been on before, so why should we expect ourselves to know how to proceed? Give that expectation up, and then climb up onto the first step, because not knowing "how" to do what you have never done before is important. In that way, every option that presents itself can be valuable for you in taking the next step. Every successful person from Henry Ford to Mother Teresa has always stated that when they began their incredible journeys they never knew how they were going to proceed and accomplish their goals either, only that they knew they would. That's commitment! I would imagine if you asked Oprah, she would say the very same thing!
The Third step: Take another step. Realize that taking a step, any step, is your journey and accomplishment. Know that if you take a "wrong" step or a "right" step, either way, you can use the information for your success. If your step appears to have led you to where you don't want to go, then what it has provided you is valuable information regarding what not to do anymore. Edison stated that he was happy he got to see 4,999 times, how not to create a light bulb, because on the 5000th time, he was successful! If you take a "right" step, then you can congratulate yourself, and then keep on proceeding toward your goal fulfillment by taking the very next step.
The Fourth Step: Know that you are already there. Humans are so impatient! We set a goal and then want it right away. The big "end result." But goals and their fulfillment do not work that way! We set goals, and then take the necessary steps to fulfill them, thinking that after our goals are completed, then we will be satisfied. But the path to our goals is where we spend most of our time. If we aren't satisfied along the way, going up the staircase, then how can we expect to be satisfied when we get to the top? We won't be, that is, unless our journey is satisfying along the way. Anxiety never supported anyone in achieving any goal, ever. That's why it's so important to pick a goal that requires you to fulfill tasks that you love. For instance, in any cherished avocation, the things you do to complete your goals in that career are things that you love to do. Great! Do those! I am a writer, and I love to write, regardless of whether I get published or not. Writing is enjoyable, fulfilling, and satisfying for me, and out of that kind of energy, what happens? I get published! Has this goal of simply enjoying every minute I write always been something I have done? Not hardly! It took a long time, and a lot of practice, until I got to the point where simply giving one hundred percent to whatever I was doing was in and of itself, more important than goal fulfillment. The irony is, that once I threw myself into whatever I was doing, my goals were reached so fast I had to make new ones!
The Fifth Step: Trust. Trust that what you are doing is what you need to be doing. Believe in yourself. How does one do that? There is a process for doing exactly that at the back of Be BAD! Do Good! How To Get What You Want In Spite Of Yourself! called The Loving Process© In a nutshell, it's about picking out those details you already love that are true about you and your life, and so expanding upon them that you experience the truth, which is that yes, no matter what, you do love yourself. It's so freeing a process that self-trust and a strong belief in yourself happen out of it. You also have to trust that those actions you take, are those that will get you not only to where you want to go, but more importantly, are those actions that are in alignment with where you are. Because where you are--your actions, your thoughts, your beliefs, what you are doing in this now moment, are the goal realized, no matter what that goal is.
Stated another way, if you want a perfect, loving, relationship, then the love, the touches, the way you treat your partner, right now, are what are important than the end goal itself. This is because completing a goal takes a brief moment, yet working toward that goal takes most of the time. So when you talk to them lovingly right now you are already there. For your millions, start a plan toward financial freedom right now, regardless of what it is, and there you go, one step taken on a huge staircase that none of us may ever get to see the completion of anyway. But that's the good news if you live in the suggested way here! If you are living the way you really want to be living, then you are so already "there" that goal completion actually becomes secondary to the way you are living in this moment! Now that's the really good news! That you can have it all, and you can have it all right now! In fact, there's no other way to have it all anyway! You go!

Find Your Motivation

Everyone has their own way of motivating themselves. Some people are incredibly self motivated. They know how to set goals and make achieving those goals a reality. Others need someone to keep reminding them of their goal and why they want to achieve it. I believe that we all possess the power to motivate ourselves. I think that self motivation starts with deciding what the problem we wish to solve is. Do we wish to lose weight? Are we unhappy in our job and would like to find a new one? Do we feel unappreciated by our partner? Once we know which problem we are attempting to solve, we can pick a goal and move towards solving that problem. If your goal is to lose 10 pounds , you should break that goal down into several smaller steps. For example, you could say that you will walk for a half an hour everyday after work for 2 weeks. Then at the end of two weeks, when you have accomplished that goal, take it to the next step which could be that you will walk/run everyday after work for one half an hour, or that you will walk for an hour. Whatever you decide. Make sure that the goal is attainable in a relatively short period of time. All these smaller goals will help you reach your main goal. But by breaking it down into smaller steps, it does not seem so unattainable. It will also help to keep you motivated to reach these smaller goals along the way. I believe that you will be most successful in reaching your goal if you are able to motivate yourself. You can keep those smaller jeans on your bedside table so that you see them everyday when you get out of bed. Put reminders on the fridge. Do not buy all the sugary snacks at the grocery store. Enlisting the help of your loved ones can also be important. It helps to have someone cheering you on. It also makes you accountable to someone besides yourself, which for some people is more important then self motivation. So, decide your goal. Break it down into several smaller steps. Write them down. As you accomplish each smaller goal, cross it off the list until you reach the end. Whatever your goal is, you can achieve it with the right mind set. Motivation starts within yourself. You decide what it is you want to change and then go about changing it.

Little things mean a lot - that's inspirational motivation. When I was a little girl, I was afraid of the dark. My grandmother told me sunset was Mother Nature's way to say goodnight. That was inspirational motivation for me to be brave about going to bed. Unfortunately, when Daylight Saving Time came, it stopped working. Mother Nature got to stay up later than I did. When I was growing up, I was taught please and thank you were little things that meant a lot. They were magic words. Sometimes I think we could turn the world into the Magic Kingdom if everyone learned to say please and thank you. A few days after John proposed we eloped to our version of the Magic Kingdom. My mother-in-law thought it was socially unacceptable that I didn't have an engagement ring. I'm sure she thought my not having a ring could cause socially unacceptable thoughts. Five months later I got an engagement ring. Actually, John's parents gave him my engagement ring for his college graduation present. Over the years my diamond engagement ring has definitely proved little things mean a lot. Three and a half years later when I was driving to my sister's house with my baby son, I was pulled over by a policeman. Before he could get to my car, I was inspired to take my son's bottle away from him. It was a little thing that caused him a few minutes of loud distress; but instead of getting a ticket for going 40 mph in a 30 mph zone, I got sympathy. Two and a half years later we had our second son and there were a lot of little things that meant a lot. Milk cartons being almost empty when they got knocked on the floor meant a lot. It meant a lot when my younger son didn't get poison ivy in his mouth after his older brother convinced him eating it would make him immune. It meant a lot when bikes ridden off the porch caused broken bikes - not bones. When boys grow up, they don't know as much about inspirational motivation as girls do. John tells me he loves me without knowing it. Yesterday he folded laundry and hung mirrors in the bathroom. Men don't realize it's the little things that mean a lot in a marriage. They don't realize how romantic they can be fully dressed.

Acne is a skin disorder that affects millions of people around the world. Acne occurs when there is an excessive secretion of sebum, a substance from the hair follicles. The excess secretion becomes the target for dust and bacteria to accumulate to later develop into acne. Acne can affect people of all ages and races. But occurrence of acne is very high among adolescent people. According to studies, almost 85 percent of adolescents and young adults within the age range of 12 and 24 years old develop acne to a varying degree. During adolescence, the hormonal levels of a person become elevated and they stimulate the sebaceous glands which are attached to the hair follicles. As an effect, greater amount of sebum is secreted. The ages of 10 and 13 are when young people are most vulnerable to acne. Normally, acne usually lasts for 5 to 10 years although there are many cases where one experiences acne up until a later age. People with poor hygiene are at a risk of getting acne. Since acne is caused by bacteria, people who are exposed to dust and dirty and do not wash their faces during bed time will most likely develop acne. Also, a person who uses dirty pillowcases will have higher risk of getting acne. Acne can also be inherited. So people who have a family history with acne will be at risk of developing acne too. People who take certain drugs like those used to treat epilepsy and depression may be at risk of acne breakout. Acne affects both men and women. But among men, the likelihood of getting more severe and long lasting forms of acme is higher compared to women. Even then, more women have close relationships with their dermatologists than men. Intermittent acne affects women due to hormonal changes that usually come with their menstrual cycle. This kind of acne is also caused by excessive use of cosmetics. Some cosmetics, especially those which are not oil-free or non-comedogenic may actually affect the pores of the skin and later develop acne. More women compared to men are getting infected with perioral dermatitis characterized by small pustules and papules form on the chin and around the mouth. Men and women who love to wear tight hats, backpacks, jeans, or any tight gear and paraphernalia are at risk with developing acne because skin friction can create irritation and may eventually trigger acne. Middle aged adults are most likely to get affected with Acne Rosacea. The effect of this kind of acne includes flushed face and red nose due to inflamed bumps. Infantile acne affects newborn babies. This is a mild kind of acne caused by fetal hormones. After a few weeks, infantile acne just naturally disappears. More men are affected with a severe form of acne called Acne conglobata. This kind of acne is an advanced form of nodular cystic acne vulgaris and this can extensively attack the face, chest and back. Seven Ways to Attract Wealth by the Law of Attraction

Actually, a lot of people are not familiar with the word " financially independent" because we have never been taught in the classroom. The word is however used widely in the MLM and in the internet marketing because the possibility the fields provide. It is however not discussed among employees since they know that there is no use to discuss about what can not be true. In this article, we will talk about seven ways to attract into your life and become financially independent. The seven ways include:
1. Study wealth. Understand the nature of wealth.
We need to respect wealth not to despite it. A lot of people drive away wealth by thinking to be wealthy is filthy. That is not true. We can be both rich and noble at the same time. Actually, to be wealthy is one of the ways to exert your most potentials and to make yourself be able to contribute more to the world. Andrew Carnegie spent the first half of his life accumulate wealth. He also spent the other half giving it away. When we study wealth, we will hear a lot of stories like this and we will change our attitude toward it. If you want to be wealthy, you have to feel good on being one.
2. Spend less than you earn.
This is very simple. Once you earn more you spend, you can save the excess. Most people understand the principle but can not practice it. They can not hold their discipline enough. The temporary gratification is so strong for most people that they do not want to sacrifice their convenience. Do not let this happen to you. Resist yourself to spend more than you earn. If your current status do not allow you to practice this, quickly find way out since it is the basic principle before you can become wealthy.
3. Save ten per cent to be your wealth fund.
This is not an emergency fund which you can spend it when it comes to urgent situation. The fund is for investing for a secured financial life. Learn how to invest wisely and carefully with this fund. You can be wealthy if you save this ten per cent long enough and live prudently enough.
4. Save ten per cent for your contribution.
Give back some money to the other people by donation. Find some organization that you can give some contribution. Oddly enough, the evidence shows that the more you give out, the more you can save. You don't have to give them all away at once. Set up a separate fund and donate when time comes. You will attract more wealth into your life by giving out to others.
5. Invest three per cent for your continual education.
You need to further your education in order to add more potential into your life. Investing in yourself is one of the smartest ways to help you achieve wealth quicker. When you are more capable, you will earn more and you can save more and invest more. At the end, the person who continually learns will definitely enjoy wealthier life than the one who does not.
6. Save unexpected income like bonus or extra profits.
When you have unexpected income, save it not spend it. People tend to spend all with what they have extra by satisfying their impulse purchase pattern. Don't do that to yourself. Save it and your saving fund will grow faster.
7. Make visualization on wealth success regularly.
Visualize that you can enjoy wealthy status can help you attract wealth into your life according to the law of attraction. You will be able to attract circumstances and attributes that will help you to become wealthy. You can add background audio to accelerate your attraction process.

Gaining Self Confidence To Succeed In Anything!

Where does self confidence come from? How do we get it? Why don't I have it? The answer to all of these questions can be answered with one word – you! Self confidence starts with you, your perception of yourself, and what other people think about your actions or behavior. For some of us, a lack of self confidence only affects our high ambitions. You might have always wanted to get up on stage, or to be a professional singer or actor for example. Perhaps your life dream is to travel the world, visit different countries or cities, but you don't have the self confidence to do it. For others, the problem of self confidence is much closer to home - in the office, business meetings, public speaking events or presentations. Self confidence issues affect most of us at some time, and we can usually find ways of getting around the problem. Avoidance is one tactic we often use – if we can get out of an intimidating situation we'll make up excuses not to take part. However, there are times when we can't get out of it, or we really don't want to. If a lack of self confidence is preventing you from doing trying something new, or from succeeding in your working life, it's time to do something about it. The starting point in improving your self confidence is understanding what causes the problem. Low self esteem, not believing in yourself or your ability, feeling inadequate compared to your colleagues or friends or maybe some kind of trauma from your childhood are all contributing factors. By examining the reasons for your low self confidence, you're halfway there! Taking positive action to overcome your fears is the next step to help boost your self confidence. A simple way to do this is by taking on small challenges. You have allowed your brain to associate certain events or actions with fear, so you've already pre-empted the outcome of these situations. By taking a small step towards conquering this, you'll find that the result is most likely not as bad as you think – in fact, you'll probably be surprised about how good you feel and your self confidence will instantly increase. When you've completed your first small challenge, congratulate yourself on achieving your aim. A small reward can often help. You're already on the right path to improving your self confidence, so you're ready to take it to the next level. This doesn't need to be a huge task; you don't want to undo all the good work. Building up your self confidence takes time, and while you might want to leap ahead, it can be a good idea to take things slowly at first. Steadily increase the risks you're taking to get your self confidence to where you want to be. Risk taking does not, of course, mean jumping off a bridge, but the perceived risk of something happening as a result of your actions is usually the biggest barrier with self confidence. Self confidence problems are common for most people, and there are excellent resources to learn to deal with these issues, but if you do have severe difficulty facing certain situations you should seek professional help.

Hypnosis or hypnotism is a psychological phenomenon of exceeding interest to both layman and scientist. Its history is as old as that of the human race, and it has been utilized by the most primitive of peoples, ancient and modern, in the practice of religious and medical rites to intensify belief in mysticism and magic. The striking character of this psychological manifestation, its inexplicable and bewildering phenomenology, and the seemingly miraculous results it produces.together with its long use for the bewilderment of the observer.have served to surround it with an aura of the supernatural and the unreal. As a consequence, the attitude of the general public toward this phenomenon, now scientifically established, has been, and too often still is, one of superstitious awe, misunderstanding, incredulity, antagonism, and actual hostility and fear. This attitude is perpetuated by the exploitation of hypnosis by the charlatan and the stage performer and the well-intentioned but mistaken and inadequate utilization by inexperienced experimenters and medical men. The scientific history of hypnosis began about 1775 with Anton Mesmer, whose name is still attached to it, but unfortunately, even this scientific beginning was founded on a mystical belief that it was constituted of a peculiar cosmic fluid with healing properties. Mesmer.s use of hypnosis began with his discovery that suggestion in various forms could be used to induce a condition resembling sleep in certain types of patients, and that, in this state, therapeutic suggestions could be given to alleviate and even remedy their complaints and symptoms. Unfortunately, Mesmer failed to recognize the purely psychological character of his discovery and attributed it to a cosmic force he termed .animal magnetism.. Although Mesmer successfully treated large numbers of patients on whom orthodox medical procedures had failed, he fell into disrepute because of the mysticism with which he surrounded his therapy. Nevertheless, his discovery and utilization of it served to lay a foundation for the therapeutic use of hypnosis and for a recognition of the validity of psychotherapy as a medical procedure. Since Mesmer's time there has been a succession of scientific men, chiefly medical, who have contributed greatly to its scientific growth. Elliotson, the first British physician to use a stethoscope, used hypnosis effectively about 1817 in his medical practice and published extensively on its suitability for certain types of patients. Esdaile, through Elliotson's writings, became so interested that he succeeded in having a government hospital built in India primarily for the use of hypnosis, where he extended its use to all types of patients, especially surgical. In 1841 James Braid, an English physician who bitterly opposed .mesmerism,. was induced to make a physical examination of a mesmerized subject. He recognized both the validity of the phenomenon and its psychological character, with the result that he coined the terms hypnosis and hypnotism and initiated the first scientific studies of hypnosis as a psychological condition of extensive medical and scientific significance. Since then, clinicians first and psychologists later, among them many outstanding scientists, have contributed increasingly to a better understanding and utilization of hypnosis as a scientific tool and as a medical procedure of immense value for certain types of patients. Particularly has interest been developing rapidly during the last 25 years among psychiatrists and psychologists. During the last 15 years there has been an increasing wealth of publications dealing with the effective use of hypnosis in the fields of psychiatry and experimental psychology. Regrettably, however, there is still a persistence of outmoded ideas and concepts of hypnosis which vitiate experimental studies and therapeutic efforts. For example, some psychologists are still publishing studies based upon techniques and psychological concepts belonging to the 19th century, and some medical men still employ it for direct symptom relief rather than as an educative procedure for the correction of personality disorders. As yet the scientific study of hypnosis is still in its infancy despite the development of a healthy, intense interest in it as a scientific problem of merit. There is still lacking an adequate general appreciation of the need to integrate hypnotic studies with our presentday concepts and understandings of personality, of inter- and intrapersonal relationships, and psychosomatic interrelationships and interdependencies.Milos Pesic is a professional hypnotist and owner of highly popular and comprehensive Hypnosis web site. Affirmation From the Law of Attraction

I personally do not do affirmations-for a well disciplined mind, affirmations are the slow way to get what you desire. I am not saying I have this kind of mind. On the contrary, I am a slow thinker, my mind wonders, and I need time to think out of the box.
My philosophy has always been you can get there quicker by going in a straight line. However, I have collected one or two affirmations that I believe are very powerful and help me overcome decades of negative thought. This affirmation was received with the blessing of Abraham from the book by Esther and Jerry Hicks, "The Law of Attraction." If you are like me and you have to be given a good kick every once and awhile, this affirmation may gently bring you back on track….
I like being here; I recognize the value and power of this time.
I feel very good to be here.
I see myself in a sort of total package, one that I know is of my own creating, and certainly a package of my choosing. I am full of energy in this picture of myself-tireless, and really moving through life experience without resistance. As I see myself gliding about, moving in and out of my car, in and out of buildings, in and out of rooms, in and out of conversations, and in and out of life experiences, I see myself flowing effortlessly, comfortably, and happily.
I see myself attracting only those who are in harmony with my current intent. And I am clearer and clearer in every moment about what it is I want. When I get into my automobile and I am moving to a place, I see myself arriving healthy and refreshed and on time, and prepared for whatever it is that I am about to do there. I see myself dressed to perfection in just the manner that I choose for myself. And it is nice to know that it matters not what others are even thinking about what I am choosing.
What is important is that I am pleased with me, and as I see myself, I certainly am.
I recognize that I am unlimited in all facets of my life….I have a bank account balance that is unlimited, and as I see myself moving through life experiences, it is exhilarating to know that there is nothing that I am choosing that is limited by money. I am making all of my decisions based upon whether I want the experience or not-not based upon whether or not I can afford the experience. For I know I am a magnet who attracts, at any point, whatever prosperity, health and relationships I choose.
I choose absolute and continuing abundance, for I understand that there is no limit to the abundance in the Universe, and that by my attracting abundance to myself I am not limiting another…. There is enough for everyone. The key is for each of us to see it and want it-and then we will each attract it. And so, I have chosen "unlimited," not necessarily putting a big stash away-for I understand that I have the power to attract it as I want it for whatever I want if for. And as I think of something else that I want, the money flows to me easily, so I have an unlimited supply of abundance and prosperity.
There are abundant aspects in every area of my life…. I see myself surrounded by others who, like me want growth; and who are drawn to me by my willingness to allow them to be, do, or have whatever they want while I do not need to draw into my experience those things that they may be choosing that I do no like. I see myself interacting with others; and talking, laughing, and enjoying that which is perfect in them while they enjoy that which is perfect in me. All of us are appreciating one another, and none of us is criticizing or noticing those things that we do not like.
I see myself in perfect health. I see myself in absolute prosperity. I see myself invigorated with life, again appreciating this physical life experience that I wanted so very much as I decided to be a physical Being. It is glorious to be here as a physical Being, making decisions with my physical brain but accessing the power of the Universe through the power of the Law of Attraction. And it is from this marvelous state of Being that I now attract more of the same. It is good. It is fun. I like it very much.
I will leave this Workshop, and I will set out-during the remainder of this day-to look for more things that I like. It is nice to know that if I see one who is prosperous, but sick, I do not need to bring the whole package into my Workshop, just the part that I like. So I will bring the example of prosperity, and I will leave out the example of sickness. My work, for now, is done.

Powerful Techniques for Overcoming Procrastination

How much better would you life be if you could take the actions that you know would make you successful? Would things be different if you had a way to overcome procrastination? For most, the quality of their life increases substantially when they are able to do what they know how to do. It is interesting to note, that the majority of individuals have an idea of what it takes to be a success in any area. However, the failure to act is what stops these people from attaining the level that they desire.
Success in any area of life requires action. Power has been described as “the ability to act”. When one is unable to act in specific situations, powerless has set in. Procrastination promotes this result. This single habit destroys more careers, marriages, and self-esteem than any other single trait. In its' infancy, it is a minor irritation. However, when it is allowed to grow deep into our psyche, procrastination has the capability of totally paralyzing one from acting. It subtly becomes a bigger motivator (or demotivator) in our decision making. The words “later” and “tomorrow” are the default mindset.
Procrastination is driven by two factors: laziness and fear. Often, when we have something that is rather quick and not difficult to do, we still put it off. These situations are driven by laziness, We simply do not feel like doing that activity at the moment. A “Just Do It” attitude helps in overcoming this. At the same time, there are things that we put off doing because we fear the results that we will receive. Our projections are negative which cause us to avoid acting. We believe that perhaps if we wait, things will pass by. Of course, this only compounds the issue. Time acts to magnify the circumstances. In these instances, we will act when the fear of the consequence of not doing it is greater than the fear associated with doing it.
A procrastination list is a valuable tool in challenging the habit of procrastination. Regardless of the motivator, it enable us to take action in an orderly manner. A great deal of a procrastinator's problem is in their thinking. By using this list. much of the thought process is removed. We set down all that we are putting off on paper as they come to mind. The order is set without any pre-qualification. Everything is listed regardless of the size of the task. If it is being put off, it is written down.
Once the list is completed, the tasks are handled one-by-one in the sequence listed. There is no jumping around. If it is next on the list, that is what is focused upon. The process of thinking is removed entirely from the equation. Also, it is vitally important to concentrate on one activity until it is fully completed before moving onto something else. Procrastinator's tend to bail out when things get a little difficult. Resist this temptation while finishing the task at hand.
The other technique that is really effective against procrastination is the procrastination partner. This is someone who you decide you will be accountable to for helping with your list. We seem to be able to take action when we have someone else that we are answering to. This is an ideal way to set up those parameters for yourself.
With this resource, we find someone who we can put trust in to have the gumption to honestly push us. If you find someone who will let you be lax, it will not work. Upon sitting with this person, we show them our procrastination list. A schedule is set down as to what actions we will take and when. Regular interaction is required to monitor the progress and report the results. Sometimes people will each establish a list and help each other work on it. The more you can involve the other person in motivating you, the better. It is similar to having a workout partner. The accountability is often enough to get us to act.
Our thinking is what creates the thoughts to put something off. When we remove that process or we are working with someone else who does not carry that same idea, the fear that we conjured up loses its power. This is the starting point to regaining our personal power. Our success increases immediately when we are able to take the proper action. The ability to act is a quality that the highest achievers have.

Eight Techniques for Happiness, Joy and Mental Ease

Attitude is a habit of thought. Every second your five senses are bombarded with millions of bits of data. Since it's impossible to process that much data, your brain has created well worn neural pathways, or patterns of interpretation, to process repetitive data sets. Those patterns filter the incoming data and make it possible to form an understanding of the world from historical repetitive patterns. Our thoughts conform to these historical patterns created through repeated input. We can change the patterns but only through conscious effort. It takes energy to change the patterns. If your mental attitude is not positive, then it will take work to change that attitude. How do you maintain a positive mental attitude? You maintain a positive mental attitude by holding positive mental thoughts. But how do you that if you currently have so many negative thoughts? Here are eight techniques: 1. Repeat an affirmation. An affirmation is a positive statement of a future positive state as if it has already been achieved. Repeat it with emotion and develop new positive pathways in the brain. 2. Listen to uplifting educational CDs in your car as you drive. Reject talk shows and other entertainment. Instead, focus on positive material and messages. 3. When exercising, cleaning house, doing yard work or other such tasks, listen to an iPod or MP3 player filled with educational and uplifting material. You'll finish your tasks more energetically and with a more positive attitude. 4. Watch only positive and educational TV shows. Don't fall into the habit of leaving the television constantly on for background noise. Negative shows and information will seep into you and your family's brain even though you may be unaware of it. And the negative impact will manifest itself at some point. 5. In all your interactions, look for and find the opportunities, positive lessons, feedback or gifts you can take away. 6. Stay grateful for all the abundance and blessings that come into your life. Everything that comes into your life is a gift for which you can be grateful. 7. Avoid and flee from the company of people who drain your energy, are negative, or who cause you distress. 8. Fall in love with yourself and other people! Love is the most powerful force in the universe. It provides positive energy and positive results. If you practice these eight tools and techniques consistently every day, I guarantee that you will maintain a positive mental attitude. Along with a positive mental attitude come some powerful effects - happiness, joy, and mental ease. Try it, you'll like it!

The concept of Memory is in the present times the center of research and debate amongst the experts in Cognitive Sciences. This is most probably due to the fact that it is impossible to describe a cognitive, biologic or artefactual system of organization without understanding the true principles behind memory. Two major theories are currently opposing researchers in the domain of Neuroscience. Whereas one school of thought considers long-term memory to be a unified functional system, another school of thought believes that memory is a psychological system that should be broken down further into several specialized subsystems so as to understand it better.
But a fact which remains undeniable are that memory is an essential function of our brain. It is continuously solicited in almost every single activity we perform throughout our daily existence. Some of our daily activities require minimal memory input - for instance, remembering to add sugar to our coffee or remembering to take some prescribed medication. Other activities require heavier memory input, as for example, learning by heart telephone numbers that we would be using regularly. Hence, it is absolutely necessary that we preserve as well as perpetually develop our memory. All in all, we will need our memory for as long as we will live. In fact, our memory can even take us a long way - just think of winners of Who Wants to be a Millionaire! Who wouldn't want to be a millionaire, after all?
In most cases, a decrease in intellectual performance and memory are mere results of underutilization of the brain. In other words, if you are experiencing mild and temporary memory losses, if you have difficulties in recalling names or in remembering faces, if words don't come to you so easily, if you have no idea what you had for dinner last night, chances are that your memory is, under normal circumstances, not solicited enough! When used sparsely, the brain regresses.
The monotonous activities and routine occupations that we perform in our daily life mobilize the same cerebral regions. As a result, the other regions fall asleep. Of course, there are other factors which may be causing temporary poor memory and amnesia as well. Examples of such factors are excessive, accumulated stress and tiredness, lack of sleep, and deficiency in amino acids - symptoms of which, unfortunately, a majority of people present - severe depression or emotional shock.
Indeed, intellectual stimulation contributes to preserve capacities of reflection as well as memory. Very often, mental illnesses like amnesia and Alzheimer are associated with old age. In truth, they may not always be directly related to old age itself, but rather to the growing latency of the memory due to underutilization of the brain. It is hence important that you keep your neurons active all the time.
It is true that, since birth, we lose neurons that are not replaced, contrary to the other body cells. However, there is no need to panic. At birth, our grey matter is made up of billions of brain cells. Even if we lose 100 000 of them each day, we will still have enough of them to live autonomously for 120 years. Besides, our brain alters permanently. When some neurons die, others reconstitute themselves and replace the former.
Playing scrabble and crosswords, watching quiz shows on television and trying to play along, or engaging in any other type of intellectual game of logic or strategy, not only effectively keeps the brain cells alive and active but also helps improve their retentive capacity. Those who are retired or whose profession does not require constant intellectual input can also engage in creative activities such as writing songs or poems, or even painting; all of which effectively stimulate the right brain. Indeed, such intellectual activities effectively improve memory as well as develop memory capacity further.
However, more complex methods to activate the memory also exist. Researches in Neuropsychology have resulted in more scientifically accurate techniques to improve memory through stimulation of the brain. Some of these scientific techniques are stimulation of neurons, training to improve photographic memory, as well as memorization techniques. On an ending note, we would like to remind you that the more the brain works, the better it works. Gymnastics of neurons are as beneficial as gymnastics of the body. But of course, there is a big difference between working and overworking!
